20150715: A Metaphoric Euphoric Love Poem

I love you like
an Aussie man likes his beer -
with a strong head of froth.

My love for you is like
the attraction between
the light and the moth.

When you smile at me
I feel as if I am a deer,
dazzled by your headlights.

When I catch sight of you
My heart beats fast,
Like a car in top gear.

When you hug me
I feel enveloped like the cast
on my broken arm.

When you kiss me
I feel as if bells ring,
like my wake-up alarm.

And when yo!u leave me
I feel like crying all night:
but I never do -
I would look such a fright!
